Hello Colored Pencil Artists!
I've been back one week from the Society of Decorative Painter's Conference in Peoria, IL.
It truly was a great Conference and the trade show was outstanding.
Jeff and I had a great time meeting so many of you that came to the booth! Thank you for your support!
Now I'm off to a seminar in California then straight to Houston, TX for Artist Expo. It's been a busy but exciting fun summer.
 This month's sketchbook is the "Study of Red" and is a colored pencil painting of a wildflower that grows on the creek bank by our home during a really wet season. They are absolutely beautiful and attract Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds by the dozens. I'm also teaching a full project of this with the flowers and hummingbirds at Artist Expo.
I've been notified that both my classes are full! More students doing colored pencil - how good does it get!!
