Color Me Blue

Beginner to Intermediate project penciled with Rembrandt Lyra Polycolor colored pencils and a couple of other pencils on 9"x12" Dusty Green, Crescent Moorman suede mat board. Five Prismacolor NuPastels are used in the background. The pastels are scrubbed into the nap of the suede with the Moonscrubber.

The tutorial contains one full color picture, five pages of written instructions with ten step-by-step pictures.

The frame was purchased at TJ Maxx spring of 2017. It had a metal anchor attached with screws and I took that off. The background hand-marbled paper was purchased from hollanders.com (french marble zig-zag).

The darker photo of the bird only, was sprayed with a workable fixative and varnished - it darkened and changed the colors of the pastel background. The photo of the framed picture is without any final finish and it's lighter. What you'll receive in the lesson is the lighter value picture.
