Advanced Level E-Tutorial
The E-tutorial includes ten pages of written instruction, one large picture, nine step-by-step pictures, and the drawing.

The drawing is done with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor colored pencils on 11x14 Stonehenge "Kraft color" paper. The paper was adhered to a masonite panel, which was then mounted on a vintage cutting board.

Janelle utilized a couple of products for blending:
Gamsol odorless mineral spirits (OMS) on the copper pitcher. This assisted in blending the pencils smoothly. 70% rubbing alcohol can also be used instead of the OMS.

The Skin Tone pencils only come in a set of 12 and Janelle used four of the colors from the set. Since these cannot be replaced individually Janelle made the decision to no longer use them. Faber-Castell Polychromos can be substituted.

Instructions for E-tutorial:

Once you have completed the checkout process in PayPal, click on the "Return to Janelle Johnson-Colored Pencil Artist" link.  That will redirect you back to janellejohnson.com where you will download your file.  Near the bottom half of the page in red you will see "Download Product", click on this to begin download. Once item has finished downloading you can open and save to your computer for use at any time. You will also receive a confirmation email with instructions and a code that will allow you to download the E-Tutorial for three days from purchase.

NOTE: After the three day grace period your download code becomes inactive and if  you have not downloaded the E-Tutorial by that time you will lose your purchase and will not be able to retrieve your E-Tutorial and will then be required to purchase a new one for use, so please make sure you download your file before it expires!
